The real Living Wage is the only UK wage rate based on the cost of living. It is voluntarily paid by over 14,000 UK businesses who believe their staff deserve a wage which meets everyday needs – like the weekly shop, or a surprise trip to the dentist. The current rate for the Living Wage for over 18s (2023/24) is £12.00 per hour outside London, and the rate in the capital is now £13.15.

The Phoenix is a proposed development of a 7.9 hectare brownfield site in Lewes, within the South Downs National Park, brought forward by Human Nature.
A ‘hybrid’ planning application was submitted to the South Downs National Park in March 2023, with an outcome expected in early 2024.
