It is voluntarily paid by over 14,000 UK businesses who believe their staff deserve a wage which meets everyday needs – like the weekly shop, or a surprise trip to the dentist. The current rate for the Living Wage for over 18s (2023/24) is £12.00 per hour outside London, and the rate in the capital is now £13.15.
