Andrew Simpson Planning are experienced planners who focus on the importance of well-being and sustainability in urban planning.

As Director of Estates and Regeneration for South West London Mental Health NHS Trust, Andrew secured planning permission for the largest regeneration scheme on an NHS site in England at Springfield Hospital, based on a vision of integrated health and social care provision at the heart of a new community. This development is now underway.

Since then, Andrew has been engaged on a number of regeneration projects, aimed at creating new communities that respond to the climate and ecological emergency and are great places to live, work and play. He was a founder director of Lewes Phoenix Rising, a community development company that is successfully promoting the genuinely sustainable regeneration of the last large industrial site in the centre of Lewes. He is currently working on two new settlements in Sussex.

Andrew is a member of the Lewes Conservation Area Advisory Group, and a member of the Executive Committee of the Lewes Chamber of Commerce.
