An evening celebrating business in Lewes took place on Monday 28th January, at Lewes Town Hall, kindly hosted by the Mayor of Lewes, Cllr Janet Baah.
The evening included the trophy presentation for the inaugural Best Dressed Christmas Window and the presentation of the charity cheque to Rockinghorse Appeal, for monies raised at Lewes Late Night Shopping in December.
“The standard of the window displays was outstanding, the shops really did pull out all the stops. I certainly didn’t envy the Mayor (Cllr Janet Baah) and Town Crier (Jon Borthwick) when it came to judging them!”
Clare Crouch, President, Lewes Chamber of Commerce
